Mobile wireless transmission for transport NEW from Wavesight, Europe's leading innovator in wireless transmission solutions comes WaveTRANS - a unique wireless client, bridge or access point solution designed and built specifically for the transport industry. It allows voice, CCTV video and data to be exchanged between vehicles, control centres and other interactive points -delivering secure, real time communications and telematics that improve security and service, whatever your mobile transport requirement. Class leading performance WaveTRANS' advanced 2.4 GHz and 5GHz OFDM wireless technology is highly resistant to interference from street furniture and other traffic, providing secure, reliable high bandwidth connectivity, with up to 108 Mbps available. Designed for fast deployment WaveTRANS is specially designed to cope with transport vibration, shock, moisture and temperature. Units can be either mounted in an industrial grade 482mm/19“ rack module or side mounted onto U Channel wall mounts within the vehicle in its own impact resistant alloy housing. Control and set up of the unit is via Wavesight's proven RFA interface software and via an SNMP interface. Simple integration WaveTRANS features an onboard 8 - port Ethernet switch for easy integration with vehicle management systems. Each unit also has full client and AP operation using the international AP standard WDS (Wireless Distribution System). Unique data capture and system logging To aid deployment and maintenance WaveTRANS includes a unique logging and data analysis system that gives you precise monitoring and control. Including: - Frequency analysis for clear channel selection and use - Bandwidth logging - Data test suite - All available data reported to excel file - Graphical representation of client performance.
