| Applications Over the years the versatility of Wavesight's technical resources has developed numerous applications for its clients across many different sectors, meeting particular needs where an off the shelf solution was unavailable, including: Miniature Radar Altimeters Specially developed for unmanned aircraft (UAV) as well as applications such as geophysical surveying and light aircraft e.g. gliders, paragliders and Microlights. Radar Level Sensors Continuous and non-contact level measurement for materials in storage tanks – oil, water, semi-solids, solids, powder etc. Wireless Transmission of Video Content Direct from Camera Latest ofdm modulation technology to suit broadcast applications. Whether broadcasters are in the field or a busy studio, wires and cables can restrict the camera operator from capturing the right images. We developed a remote system enabling the camera to send a video image over a wireless link, providing immediate feedback. Patient Monitoring Wavesight’s wireless patient monitoring module allows users to incorporate an intelligent remote telemetry module within a system using a robust Bluetooth™ communications radio. Users can capture analogue inputs or data on the patient via the USART or serial ports and transmit the digital signals to a base module, which can communicate with a PC or other monitoring equipment. Fixed Wireless Access Wavesight offers a radio ‘front-end’ design capability, product integration and re-engineering services on frequency ranges 1 to 10GHz. Wavelength develops a wide range of bespoke broadband microwave transceivers that can be licensed to equipment manufacturers to allow additional product variants to be offered and further markets to be addressed. Alarm Verification Sensor for security applications When alarms need to be verified before appropriate action can be taken, detecting the movement of a foreign body on both a passive infrared detector (PID) and a video camera can be extremely beneficial. Unlike sophisticated digital detector systems that need expensive processing equipment, Wavelength’s patent-pending technology provides a simple method of detecting activity based on raw standard video signals. Telemetry Solutions Wavesight’s Wireless Telemetry Module allows users to incorporate an intelligent remote telemetry module within a system using the robust Bluetooth™ communications radio.
